    Rate Definitions for Absence Payments/ Deductions

    in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI)

    Summary:

    Absence Rate Calculation based on Salary Basis and Allowance from ICP

    Content (required):

    We have a requirement, Unpaid Absence value to be deducted from Basic salary plus Allowance (coming through ICP).

    Setup: Defined a Rate Definition using Balance contributor type by attaching a Balance Definition having Basic Salary and Allowance Pay Values as feeds.

    Rate Definition is attached at Element level.

    Issue: Calculation of Absence Payment and Deduction is happening on Salary basis only.

    Can you suggest what should be the approach for this requirement? Whether I am missing anything?
