Cash Pooling vs Enable multifund accounting

We would like to know if we can implement the functionality of Cash Pooling with the below setup which cannot be reversed:

Please we need to know if we can use Cash Pooling when "Enable multifund accounting" is not activated.

We have addressed it through MOS but they sent us here.
