How Total Compensation Statements work in case of multiple assignments?

is there a way to include in Total Compensation Statement all compensation data regardless the assignment where salary and payroll elements are loaded in case of multiple assignments or the system will generate one statement for each assignment? In case it is possible to have one statement only including salary loaded on different assignments, how can it be done?
