Cannot save changes on the Configure Column Properties Page for one of our component columns

Summary: Cannot save changes on the Configure Column Properties Page for one of our component columns.

Open a workforce compensation plan and go to the Configure Worksheet Page Layout. On the Detail Table tab expand component 5 and click on the properties icon for Compensation Amount - Component 5. When I try to make edits to this page (Configure Column Properties) and save or save and close nothing happens. Nothing saves and the page does not close after clicking save and close.

Any ideas as to why edits cannot be saved on this page?

I have cleared cached, tried multiple browsers and tried an incognito window and those didn't correct the issue.
