Starting on March 24, 2025, our reporting book outputs to XLS files, whether live, through a bursting definition, or using SmartView , have gone from 20-30 seconds to taking from 20-30 minutes.

The book validates with no errors and is able to generate PDF output generally within a similar 20-30 second processing window.

I had been testing an automation script in our test environment to execute and download PDF and XLS files generated by burstings, so I re-cloned the environment including doing a full recreate in EPM Automate. Neither a clone by itself nor the clone with the recreate were able to recover the performance.
