How do I properly create an always free Ampere A1 instance on a Pay As You Go account?
Hello,
I upgraded my account from "Always Free" to "Pay As You Go".
Then, I created an Ampere A1 instance (VM.Standard.A1.Flex, 4 OCPUs, 24GB RAM),
thinking it would automatically be in the range of 'Always Free'.
Yet, I got an invoice of around $2 the next day.
There is no information in the billing part in the oracle website, no usage statement/payment history, and cost analysis says $0.
Now I have couple of questions regarding this occasion.
- Is there no way to create an always free A1 (ARM) instance after upgrading to PAYG account?
- How do I accurately track how much I would be charged? There seem to be not much information around this..
