Guide for third party recruiting application integration with core hr

Summary:

Hi All,

We are looking for any reference document or links for integrating a third party recruiting application with core hr module. Client dont want to use ORC anymore, hence they are planning to develop an internal third party recruiting application and integrate with core hr module directly.( For eg. Candidate once moved to HR in third party, it should come as Pending worker in pending workers list).

Any help on documentation or guide for understanding the overall idea of configurations would be helpful.
