Could someone please help me in deriving Last day of month based on system date?

I have Integration where I am using accounting date between from date (First day of month) and to date (Last day of month) as a parameter which invoke OTBI analysis to filter data. First and last day of month can be derived based on System date.

Please let me know how to achieve this, if anyone come across same scenario ?
