Question regarding recent alert from Oracle on the Transition to News Feed Home Page (25B)


The email contains the text below. We would like to understand why we are being asked to do this ? Surely when we transition on patch 25B the Newsfeed rollout will automatically happen ? What if we don't follow steps below ?

What are my immediate actions?

We strongly encourage you to transition to the News Feed layout immediately so you can roll the feature out to your users.

To transition to the News Feed layout, follow these steps:

  • Login as a user with Administrator / Developer privileges
  • Create a sandbox
