DFF Initial Default using SQL
Summary:
Descriptive Flexfield Configuration provides a Initial Default setup (DFF Segment > Initial Default > Default Type = SQL) which allows to enter a SQL which can query the tables and get the needed data.
Position DFF segment needs to be defaulted by querying data from tables to dynamically populate data form Oracle HCM and ERP tables.
But as per Oracle Support Document - Fusion Global HR: Initial Default of type SQL on a Segment does not Default on Redwood UI (Doc ID 3056052.1) - There isn't support for defaulting via SQL in Redwood UI. For Redwood UI, the defaulting is supported using business rules only.
