How to hide a custom pause task in orchestration step in sales order?

The requirement is to display a custom pause task " supply request pause" in orchestration steps in a sales order only when the item is a CTO item so that it will apply a pause before supply order creation step. Currently copied the seeded orchestration and added this pause step before the conditional step in orchestration but because of which, this pause step is visible even in standard item order line which is not meeting the requirement so I have tried adding this pause step after the conditional step but then it is asking for a branching condition, fulfilment condition
