when adding item to asset part list I only see the item associated to the MST org

In Fusion Maintenenace, when adding an item to an asset's part list , I only see the item associated to the MST org and not the inventory org that the asset and item are associated to. We are wanting to assign the part number from the inventory org that matches the asset and not the MST org.
