Smartview freezing issues

I got a new computer and am now using version 24.200 of SmartView with version of 2501 of Excel and ever since SmartView is causing my Excel to freeze and force shutdowns all the time. It's happening when I am just trying to log in. Is this a known issue? Is there something I can do to fix it? This is happening multiple times a day.
