DFF Defaulting capabilities using SQL

Business Rules for Defaulting DFF segments should support SQL query. The Initial default SQL in the DFF configuration does not work on redwood pages. As per Oracle Support Doc ID 3056052.1 -Fusion Global HR: Initial Default of type SQL on a Segment does not Default on Redwood UI - There isn't support for defaulting via SQL in Redwood UI. For Redwood UI, the defaulting is supported using business rules only. However VBS Express Mode Business rules do not have any placeholder to use a SQL or a value-set based defaulting.
