Manage Assets - Create Asset UI attributes - Clarifications requested
Summary:
I have few queries in the edit assets page wrt assets transfers as well as when asset can be maintained in a multi-org scenario. Documentation is little confusing. I would like to get the intended functionality right.
Considerations for Transferring An Asset To Another Organization

Operating Organization | The organization where the asset is operating. For an enterprise asset, this is the primary organization where work orders are created. This field is optional for a customer asset that isn't maintained using work orders. Its operating organization is defaulted to the Validation Organization value and can’t be updated. |
