Uploaded resumes for candidates,but dm_document_id and dm_version_number are not generated.

I have uploaded resumes for candidates, but dm_document_id and dm_version_number are not being generated. Do I need to run any additional processes?

If a candidate applies for a job through the career site and uploads a resume during the application process, then the dm_document_id and dm_version_number fields are generated.
However, if a prospect is created with a resume and later converted to an applicant, the dm_document_id and dm_version_number fields are not generated.
