"Oracle Subscription Management – Managing Mid-Term Cadence Change with Existing Invoices"

We are using Oracle Subscription Management, where invoices are generated one month in advance of the subscription period.

The subscription in question runs from January to December 2025 and was originally set up with a monthly billing cadence.

An amendment is being processed with an effective date of March 17, 2025, to change the billing cadence from monthly to quarterly.

Current System Behavior (OOTB with Advance Invoicing):

  • Invoices are already generated up to April 2025 based on the original monthly cadence.
  • Under standard behavior, the system would continue generating monthly invoices for May and June, and only switch to quarterly billing from July (Q3).
