Account search by an attribute other than Account Name

Summary:

Our customer wants to search for an Account by using a parameter other than Account Name on the Account Management page. They do not want to use the Advanced Filters for this purpose as well. Is this possible?

As an FYI, we're using simplified UI and not on Redwood yet.
