Can you change the text in a seeded error message in RSSP?

We have enabled set the option "Enable Mandatory Attribute Validation During Submit" to true in the shopping cart for validation of fields within the delivery and billing section. Is there a way to change the text of the error message that the system throws? The customer wants it to be more specific.
