Sales Order GOP - Allow Splits

On Sales Order, we have 'Allow Partial Shipment of Lines' as Yes on header and line. When I do Actions > Switch to Fulfillment View > Check Availability, the 'Allow Splits' shows as No.

How do it get value of No in Check Availability? I tried to edit line on Check Availability to Yes and refresh results but still remains as No.

Since this is No, when we re-schedule from Check Availability window, GoP will not split line in case onhand is partially available with respect to requested quantity, correct?

Please help me understand this..

Also, is there a way we can mass update the 'Allow Partial Shipment of Lines' without SO Revision?
