Approval chain shows incorrect manager hierarchy

Approval chain of worksheet shows different hierarchy than actual hierarchy. We have been using other line manager hierarchy as primary hierarchy type but and the chain shows correctly in Administer worker page but the worksheet shows something different. What could be the issue?
