    Element End Date not working using HDL

    Summary:

    When trying to end date an element entry using this HDL…the process fails.

    METADATA|ElementEntry|ElementEntryId|EffectiveStartDate|EffectiveEndDate|ReplaceLastEffectiveEndDate|SourceSystemId|SourceSystemOwner
    MERGE|ElementEntry|300000026323935|2025/03/28|2025/03/29|Y|300000026323935|FUSION

    Error reads:

    -You can't modify the entry for the element Butler 403b Retirement Contribution because the entry source DIR_COMP is ineligible for modification.

    -You can create, update, or delete element entries with entry sources F, H, CWB, and VC.

    We have also tried to delete it using HDL, but still fails creating exact same error messages.

    Please help.
