Sales Order approval based on EFF attribute

We have a requirement to implement approvals based on comparison of amounts. The scenario is Line amount needs to be compared with calculated amount (line qty * custom price in an EFF attribute) and trigger approval if difference between these amounts exceed certain value. In approval attributes, I can pull only one field from application and other field has to be a constant value.

Need some guidance on how can this be achieved?
