Geocoding issues in Field Service

Hi,

I'm currently investigating some issues we're seeing with the OFSC geocoding functionality whereby we're finding either geocoding failures or incorrect locations being returned for the address provided.  OFSC is configured for Ignore coordinates with accuracy less than ZIP.

We're UK based and are able to provide a correct post code to OFSC, along with address details given to us by the customer.  These details resolve in Google maps reliably.  Our activity addresses come from a database, and it is unfeasible to manually to update these where geocoding fails.

The issue we're having occurs when we try to geocode an address that has a city name which is in the same locality as the postcode, but is not the nearest town/village to where the postcode is located.  These are often addresses in a small village on the edge of a larger urban area, and will geocode successfully if we manually change the city in the address to the smaller village that the address resides in.

Howdy, Stranger!
