Summary:

We created a rule through 'Validate field Values' in VBS. It is working fine while we are adding a new contact but when we try to edit the existing one- we are facing issues with one of the test cases-

Rule that we created for Edit contact info- We created a Warning if the person is editing contact info.


Test Cases we tried -

  1. When a contact is not an emergency contact and we are updating it to an emergency contact, it is giving warning as per the Rules defined. Working as expected.
  2. When a contact is an emergency contact and already have phone details entered, if we mark the emergency contact as ‘No’, it is also working as expected.
