Please suggest how to end date or delete a contact which was covered prior

Summary:

Please suggest how to end date or delete a contact which was covered prior and now has been dropped due to death event, specially from Self service where user cannot date track. I dont see any option to end date and not able to delete as well. Delete option is available not get the error saying the contact is enrolled.
