Experience with Financials Accounting HUB in Public Sector,specifically government social services

I'm looking for experience with FAH in the public sector and specifically social services context.

We have a core system that calculates the benefits to which a migrant or refugee is entitled. Then this system uses complex mechanisms (all in the PLSQL code and not visible to finance) to create payment instructions as well as accounting documents in the ERP (legacy). As part of our project to move to Cloud ERP, we would like to evaluate the possibility of making this setting visible and under the control of finance and we were thinking of FAH. What is your experience on this subject?
