Release 25B: Taleo Enterprise Edition is replacing TinyMCE with Oracle Rich Text Library(ORTL)

Release 25B: Oracle Taleo Enterprise Edition is replacing TinyMCE with Oracle Rich Text Library (ORTL) as the new rich text editor

Expected changes with ORTL editor:

  1. ORTL provides 3 heading levels. By default, ORTL is configured to support the <h2>, <h3> and <h4> elements which are named Heading 1, Heading 2 and Heading 3 respectively.
  2. Instead of using the toolbar for clipboard actions like Copy, Cut, Paste and Paste as Text, users will use the keyboard shortcuts.
  3. The maximize screen feature isn’t available in ORTL.
  4. The About section with feature and product information isn’t available in ORTL.
  5. ORTL adds extra space after br tag and encloses few of the inline tags in p tags. Please refer
