Sharing a Shared List

Summary:

I have a regular automated Contact record upload (Auto Synch) which triggers an email campaign in Eloqua. The email campaign adds eligible contacts into a Shared List, the count of contacts in this Shared List is circulated to a couple of stakeholders in the business via an emailed report generated by Eloqua Analytics/Insight. This all happens on a monthly basis within 2-3hrs of the contact upload/Auto Synch.

My issue is that new contact records added to Eloqua are often not reflected in the emailed report, I assume because of a delay in new contact data propagating to Insights. I'd like to understand if this delay is commonplace across Eloqua instances and if/how I can potentially work around this; 2 options that come to my mind are:
