How to Implement Group Netting in Oracle Supply Chain Planning for Pharma

Summary:

We have a requirement to implement the following for a Pharma Client:-

Below are the process steps:-

a) Based on the definition of Group net site, a virtual network Is created during supply planning with a virtual site for each country.

b) Inventory across warehouses in the country are consolidated at the virtual site

c) Inventory at the DC’s are disabled to avoid duplication

d) Original network between DC to Manufacturing plant is disabled and only routed through the virtual site

e) Common Inventory is now available for Net requirement generation

f) The virtual network is automatically disabled for DRP once Supply plan is firmed up at the manufacturing plant/copacker.
