Hide overall Salary component details on my compensation(ESS)

Summary:

We have a requirement to hide the 'Overall Salary' field on ESS My compensation page. This is a Redwood page and we tried to customize this via VBCS, but looks like
we cannot control the components that can be displayed under Current salary section. We are able to hide the component details section, but could not selectively hide the components.
Any insights would be helpful.
