Enforcing Read-Only Behavior for “Entered Amount” Field in Miscellaneous Receipts after saving

In our Oracle Fusion Receivables Cloud Service production environment, we have encountered an issue with Miscellaneous Receipts. While in our Standard Receipts sandbox we successfully enforced the read-only behavior for the Entered Amount field—using the page editor (or composer) to Edit the read-only expression after saving—this approach does not seem effective for Miscellaneous Receipts. For Miscellaneous Receipts, the Entered Amount field remains editable even after the receipt is saved, creating concerns over our internal controls and security compliance.
Is there a supported configuration or recommended workaround to enforce a read-only state for the Entered Amount field in Miscellaneous Receipts after saving it? Have others applied a similar technique via the page editor or composer in this context or found alternative solutions?
