FCC Looking for meaningful Approval Unit Configuration

in Financial Consolidation and Close

Hello Oracle Community,

We are currently working on a meaningful security concept in Oracle FCC that also allows us to configure an approval process, that at the end is comparable to the one in Oracle HFM.

Status Quo HFM:

  • As part of the month-end closing, the system administrator starts the current period for the entire entity structure. The entity structure is defined by a LEGAL top node with various children representing different legal entities. Each Legal Entity consists of different profit centers that are uniquely assigned to one Legal Entity. The administrator changes the process level status for the entire Entity Structure from 'Not Started' to 'First Pass' to 'Review Level 1'.
