Default "New Start Date" to Employee Hire Date in Employment Start Dates Page

Is it possible to set the "New Start Date" field in the Employment Start Dates page to default to the employee's Hire Date?

Redwood: We want the "New Start Date" field (highlighted in the screenshot) to automatically populate with the employee's Hire Date by default.

Does Oracle HCM Cloud support this functionality? If so, could you please guide me on how to configure it?
