Update Attributes on Split Order Lines for Partial Shipments Opt in not working for Existing Orders

Summary:

I have enabled the Order management Opt in "Update Attributes on Split Order Lines for Partial Shipments" to update the Attribute for the Partial shipped items ..it is working as expected only for the Orders that was created after enabling the Opt-in.

Not working for the Orders created before enabling this.

Is there any option to get this enabled for the existing orders?
