Merge External Candidate Profile with Internal Profile

Summary:

Is it possible to merge an External Candidate profile with their Internal Candidate profile? We have an issue where Candidates have multiple External candidate profiles AND an Internal Profile that they were hired on. When we try to merge the External Profile with the Internal Profile, our only option is to merge with the other External profiles and NOT the Internal one. Is it possible to merge an External Profile with an Internal Profile?
