Error message I haven't seen before: NoAvailableOlapConnectionsException: The connection was null

in Profitability and Cost Management 2 comments

Full error message was:

Allocation Rule 'RULE_NAME' failed with following error: com.hyperion.planning.olap.NoAvailableOlapConnectionsException: The connection was null in thread: pool-445-thread-1.

I've seen olap connection errors before, but never encountered this one — it happened when calculating for 7 months at a time, only the first month failed, the other 6 all completed successfully.

Has anyone seen this before?
