When an employee or line manager adds a goal for a subordinate, the subordinate must acknowledge that the goal has been added and agreed upon by both the employee and the line manager

Before a goal is submitted by the employee or approved by the manager, the system should require both parties to acknowledge and confirm their understanding and agreement to the objectives. This can be enforced via a mandatory checkbox, digital acknowledgment, or embedded workflow step within the goal submission process.
