Calendar invites not being sent for VILT sessions with ad hoc teams link

We have set up the MS Outlook integration. Learners are not receiving the calendar invite for VILT sessions which use an ad hoc Teams link.

We have set up both MS Outlook and MS Teams integrations, however we have VILT sessions which use breakout rooms, so we still have a need to use ad hoc teams links (and occasionally Zoom). During testing, the calendar invite sent successfully regardless of whether the activity was in a physical classroom, used the Teams integration, or was an ad hoc Teams link.

Now we're in production, the calendar invites send correctly for ILT sessions with a classroom, but not with an ad hoc VILT team link. They either don't send at all, or arrive a day or two late. We haven't tested the Teams integration in our production environment.
