Rest API to backorder Shipment line is splitting the shipment line but not splitting back the Sales Order fulfillment line.

We are trying to back order shipment line using Rest API - /fscmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.05/shipmentLineChangeRequests/action/backorderline. It is working as expected i.e. backorder and split of shipment line but we observe that the Sales Order fulfillment line is not splitting.

Please suggest.
