BPM Workflow – Request to Allow Only 2 Specific Levels to Redirect for Additional Comments

Summary:

We have a BPM workflow configured with 13 levels of approval, as per the business requirement. However, the business expects that only 2 specific levels (e.g., Level 5 and Level 9) out of the 13 approval levels should have the ability to use the “Request Additional Information” (redirect for comments) option.

Currently, Oracle BPM workflow allows any approver in the hierarchy to redirect for comments, which does not align with our business rules.
