CPQ Parts Expiry: What is Oracle recommended process for expiring parts?

We have Oracle Fusion, Oracle Sales Cloud, Oracle CPQ Cloud, and Oracle EBS.

Parts are maintained in PD PIM and interfaced to different applications: Sales Cloud, CPQ and EBS.

Please let know the Oracle suggested OOTB practices or best practices for implementing this process end to end.
