Unexpected Delay When Sales Order Is Fulfilled Using Internal Org Supply Due to GOP and CTP Behavior
For simplicity, assume D1 Org sources from M1 Org with Intransit Time = 0. Supply plan is not attached to GOP.
Source Organization M1 has an On-hand quantity of 100.
A Sales Order (SO) is created in Org D1 with a Requested Quantity = 100, and it is promised with SSD = RSD in D1 through GOP.
Once the SO is collected into the Supply Plan and the Planned Order is released from D1, it creates an Internal Sales Order (ISO) in M1.
This ISO goes through GOP and gets promised at ITF in M1 Org.
However, the shipment from M1 to D1 gets delayed because the SO in D1 consumes the supply in M1 through the CTP rule.
