Goal:

To upgrade an Oracle Linux 7 on-prem OSMH client instance to Oracle Linux 8

This document assumes, 

  • OSMH is correctly configured and otherwise working fine ( ) 
  • The osmh version on the instance is "3.1.1-release-OSMH-3-1.linux.x86_64" or higher ( OS Management Hub → Instance → Agent Version: )
  • The client instance is registered to an on-prem management station
  • The leapp documentation has been read ( )
  • All required Oracle Linux 7 and 8 software sources are available on the management station (
