Issue with Half-Day Leave Request When Public Holiday is Defined for Second Half Only

Hi everyone,

I'm facing an issue related to half-day leave configuration in Oracle Fusion

I’ve followed the required setup steps to define a half-day public holiday, including:

Creating a calendar exception for the date (June 5) with the time range 13:00–17:00 to represent the second half of the day.

Using VBS (Value Set Based) setup to expose the First Half / Second Half options for half-day absences.

However, when I try to request a half-day absence for the first half (morning) of that same day, the system throws the following error:

“Couldn't select the absence dates because of your work schedule.”
