25B feature : Add Absence in Calendar

Having enable the above feature and identified the required Absence types we have been made aware that we can not submit.

Default Template you are presented when clicking on Add Absence from the calendar

New Template when Absence type selected

Once Duration entered and return all field that proceed are cleared.

Unable to Save as the Required field has been cleared ?

How can I stop the required field from being removed ?
