How to Address Daily Attributes in Redwood Time Cards
Summary:
We recently enabled Redwood for Time and Labor and noticed that daily time attributes can no longer be used as before.
In the classic experience (see Image), a single time card row could include different values for these attributes on different days (like Motivo and Centro de Costo de Ejecución) .
In the Redwood experience (see the redwood image), a separate row is required for each unique combination of time and attributes. In our case, the in and out time values come from an integration, while daily attributes such as Motivo and Centro de Costo de Ejecución are manually entered by the user. Since a different value may be needed for each day, users are forced to split the time card into multiple rows and manually copy the times, which adds unnecessary complexity to the process.
