In RSSP, designing the featured category

In RSSP under featured categories we want see branching featured category into the top level featured category.

As of now when we select the featured category checkbox in 'Manage Catalog Category Hierarchy', it show as separate featured category under Featured Categories in RSSP.

We are looking if we can do branching, i.e from above (1st photo). When we go into the RSSP > Featured Categories, we should only be able to see the IT under Featured Categories. Expanding IT > Buy & Hold > 1) Location Upgrade, 2) UPS Project Upgrade & likewise.

If anyone who has worked on similar kind of requirement. Kindly provide update.
