Planned Purchase Orders Data Migration

Summary:

We are currently supporting a client in their migration from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to Oracle Fusion Cloud (25A), specifically within the Procurement module. In EBS, the client made extensive use of Planned Purchase Orders (PPOs) and Scheduled Releases to manage long-term procurement planning and supplier commitments.

We understand from Oracle documentation and My Oracle Support notes that:

“Planned Purchase Order is not available in the cloud. The degree of uptake of Planned POs and Scheduled releases within EBS was pretty limited which is why the functionality was not carried forward to the cloud solution. There isn't a migration recommendation for such documents as such. Depending on demand and targeted use cases, it's something that we can revisit in the future.”
