Cross validation rule with 'decendant of' and hierarchy with range not working

We have a Cross-Validation Rule with a '(last) descendant of' operator + a hierarchy with ranges- for the child values.

All of this is seeded functionality, however the CVR does not work for some reason.

Does anyone know if this combination of functionalities is not (yet) working?

Using 'IN' or 'BETWEEN' statements is not as user friendly as 'LAST DESCENDANT'.
